I need to wait and see what my dealerships allocation is going to be. For some reason we carry all automatics except for the Nismos. So most likely my GM would have to order mine. 370Z Touring 6MT Sport

Don't worry. After the 370 hits the market, there will be plenty of 350s.... and cheaper too. Hang in there.

I'm waiting for the Nismo edition this time.. no need to hurry.

I got my '03 in May 2003. I got mine $1300 under MSRP.

I just don't see the demand for the 370 being as high as it was for the 350. Plus with the economy going south in a hurry, IMHO Nissan will make a goood deal with for your business...

I agree with you, though, about waiting a while.

WAIT....WAIT
Is it worth $3k to $5k to wait till spring> YES and thats how much you will save if you wait.
The auto industry is suffering and the ports are full of cars. Trust me they will offer great incentives to those with good credit or cash. They want to charge you $20k over MSRP for a GT-R now but You can get one $5k off then too! That is IF you still have a job and an income. This will be very tough year for all and may become a Depression. Just ask grandpa what that means. The same Govt that mismanaged the economy has blundered at preventing it downfall. Obamas status quo team won't work either.

for me i would wait until the later models of the 370z comes up, since car manufactures are always improving and who knows if they might improve on the engine more as years to come
i never expected the 350z to have an engine upgrade but it did, so who knows if the 370z would get the same treatment lol

Ya...I completely agree. I want to take delivery in February but I have to play the patience game and wait a few extra months because frankly I don't have a whole lot of money. I can afford it its just a matter of gettting a better deal. It will be verry interesting to see how long dealerships hold out to start offering some crazy good deals.

I think for everyones best interests here looking to get the 370Z sometime this year we need to do a very thorough job keeping each other posted on what kind of deals we have been offered. I mean car sales are already at one of the lowest points in HISTORY. I'm thinking dealers are going to try to hold out as long as possible to keep it MSRP but in February I think they will be forced to start making some deals. No dealership is going to be in good shape after this XMAS season......I smell some great deals on this car just hope I play my cards right because I want one so badly I don't want to wait haha.

I have never bought a new car before....I'm only 23. For those with experience, what kind of good 'deals' can/do dealerships offer on brand new cars when they are struggling. Financing? Below MSRP? Throwing in a Sports Package? I'd imagine what ever kind of deals people have seen before there will be that much better deals out there this time. I hope

If I do, it'll be a 2nd or 3rd year model. Not taking the chance they did with the 03's and early 04's.
