I believe that best deals will come towards the 4th. quarter of 2009. After summer. Even better deal if dealers have plenty in stock from lack of sales. I'm crossing my fingers.

January and February are traditionally the worst months for new car sales so you are more likely to get a good deal. In some places it's the dead of winter. Everywhere it's the post holiday shopping season and most people don't have any money.

But with all that aside, the best thing to do is wait until 2010. The car will surely be getting some tweaks after being in production for a year. The economy will hopefully be better and any premium because it's a new generation car will have worn off.
