I have to admit, I was leaning towards not liking it. But, seeing it motion makes it look nice! I have no doubt that it will look good fitted with some nice wheels and a drop.

Agreed! This car is sexy on paper and looks to be fucing **** up on the road coarse as well. I can't wait to see all the colors in person and see how well this car does against the Cayman S. BMW 135i doesn't stand a chance. Too heavy for a tiny little car... and 300hp doesn't make me *** anymore.

I truly believe that Nissan has made sure that the 370z will beat the Cayman S since they made the GT-R dominate the 911 Turbo. Asians love these crazy challenges and I'm happy they do since I get to enjoy their awesome results.

It's already been shown that the 135i is under rated and actually makes roughly 330 at the crank. So if the 135i doesn't do it for you then the 370z won't either. Also I bet the 370z does equally as well as the 135i is just about every catergory. Accleration alone, the 135i is a low 13 sec car as will probably the 370z. In the corners the Z might edge the 135i but I doubt it will be a killing. I love the new Z but you have to stay properly informed about other cars if you are going to be comparing them. The 135i is no slouch.

Forgot to add. One thing the 135i has going for it that the Z won't have is ease of gaining more power. With stock FI basic mods will yeild good results. The one thing Nissan needs to get back to is FI

All the 135i needs is some basic and relatively inexpensive mods and there's, what, 400+hp or so? It's definitely no slouch.

I'd like to see a Nismo TT kit for the 370Z, along the lines of the supercharger kit offered by Toyota for the FJ Cruiser and Tundra. The Toyota kit can't be sold at the same time as the car and the cost can't be added to the original car loan, but can be added later. I forget the exact cost - maybe $5k-$6k plus labor. Because you buy these Toyota kits from TRD, they don't void your warranty.

Sounds like a no-brainer to me. Only problem is the FJ doesn't look nearly as good as the 370Z, though some on this forum would disagree.

Hey, I don't even care if Nismo just buys kits direct from Greddy and repackages them. I'd even pay a higher price just for the convenience of a warranty.

Maybe the old Cayman S they benchmarked the 370z on. The 370z will have no chance against the new 320hp, 2900lbs, PDK equipped Cayman S imho. I agree with you and think it will more than hold its own against a 135i stock to stock though.
