Is it just me or is the new 370z one of the ugliest cars ever?
Honestly, i didn't fall in love with it at first sight like I did with my 350z. However it is unrealistic and ignorant to say that it is the ugliest car ever. It is not the best looking car by a long shot though, IMO.
Well I saw it at the LA auto show last Sunday.
Its ugly in person as well.
The over all design is not bad but the headlight tailights rear and fangs just do not belong (They kill the lines of the car all together).
Comparing the 370 to a Porsche design is absurd. Porsche barely changes their designs plus they always flow with the lines of the car.
The headlight tails and butt hole third light hole just looks retarded. Their design looks like an after thought.
I watched Nissan's booth and most people either said meh about the design and moved over to the GTR.
The new 370Z is not going to be a hit like 350z. There are better cars for the money + the bizzare design of the lights are going to turn alot of people off.

This sounds very similar to what people said about the new RX8 compared to the old one, lol.
Anyways back on topic, I think the 350Z was a much better design. IMO it went from being too simple to too busy.
i just got back from the LA auto show very disapointed, after seeing all the pictures i did not like until i saw it in person, now i really hate it. HIDEOUS! nissan what were you thinking

I think the 350Z fit more for American tastes, the 370Z is more for global. Americans usually tend to like more simplistic, basic and conservative cars. But from the reactions I have seen there will be many Americans who do like the 370Z too.

How can you even judge the 370z by stating that it will not be a hit when it is not even out yet?

Nissan will sell every one of these things they can manage to build, current global economic outlook notwithstanding. They will do this whether you like the car or not. It's just that simple. Now, get over yourself.
I, along with many others, happen to think the 370 surpasses the 350 in every area - styling, performance and value. It's obvious that you don't. And that's okay. So, as I keep saying, go back to the 350 forums and complain about the 370 over there, already. Let those of us who like the 370 enjoy ourselves. Nobody is putting a gun to your head to make you buy the new car. We promise not to go to the 350 forums and complain about how dated and slow your cars are.
And, to the OP, yes, it is just you.
