That looks to me like you just compared it to EVERY Z.

Where I'm getting the Evo IX comment from is the fact that you THINK the Evo X can beat a 350Z down the 1/4 (otherwise referred to as "the strip" to 99% of auto enthusiasts) when in fact it hasn't ran faster/quicker than a same-year 350Z. The only possible way someone can come to that conclusion is by basing the 1/4 performance of the X to the IX (since the IX does smoke the 350Z down the 1/4).

No **** it's gonna launch harder/run a better 60' than the Z... advantages of AWD. After that, the sorry stock tune holds the X back, along with it's porky-*** 3500lbs it's gotta lug around.

Looks are subjective. I personally think the Evo is hot, and a lot of people think it's hotter than the Z.

There's nothing wrong with a 4-door, and for most people, it's the best option.

The 4G63 is one of the (if not THE best) 4 bangers on the planet. The thing can rev through the roof. It's more than proven itself in all aspects of motorsports. It is in fact MUCH more proven than the VQ blocks. And as of now, the 4B11 is more than proving itself as well.

in the unholy streets of ny the number of fast/quick evos vs other make & models are 10 to 1.. i assume its like this all over ? how the hell do you guys on spray or fied on stock block hr or not even hang with these "4dr grocery getters?" haha maby my experince are not the norm? i for 1 love the looks of evo 8's and 9s the X look ok but not as good as the older ones similar to my opinions on the 350 and 370 haha old one looks better imo.

 

The K20 is NOT a 4 banger. It's a 4 cylinder V16.

To be honest, I think a lot of previous Mitsu owners have graduated on to a Z or other Nissan.

Over at www.club3g.com we sometimes joke and call it club350z ect. Due to the overwhelming amount of people that move on from the slow 3g to a z.

also, I am surprised that EvoM is having a bench racing cream fest. I guess it is to be expected (it is going to infest this site as well) and all these 'omg check out other car forums saying things about the z'.
