If you have 07-08 NISMO would you trade in for 370Z ??
Please don't start ****!! if you need too! then please go somewhere else!!
The NISMO 350z was not even built my NISSAN Built by Autech for NISSAN Motor Sports!
I happen to love rear of the car very very sexy have you ever seen the back of car?? going down the road I have, and it can not be touched.
The NISMO 350z is for high speed driving and tracking the car, For all you people who don't understand the body setup on the NISMO was put together for a reason:::
To Help the car at high speeds.
There is no reason to say anything about how 370z is better because I don't see it!!! and it's 3,355lbs car with 23 more HP wow!! both cars are 0-60 5.1 secs.
I love my NISMO only 1500 made and your going to never see some old lady, with one like you will with 370 over next 3 years!!.

Also, about the 0-60 run: How do you explain the MotorTrend 4.7 0-60 run and the Car and Driver 4.9 0-60 run? Sounds like you are choosing to see only what you want to see. It those mags got those times, it must be faster than the Nismo as the Nismo has not hit those time right??
Ooops... I did it again.....
After taking in that you can never get in trade in what a car is worth I would say Keep th Nismo. Besides the Nismo has upgrades in exhaust and brakes correct? I don't own a nismo and have not read up on it in over a year but besides body work and staggered wheel set up. I thought I remember hearing it had some suspension, brake, and exhaust upgrades. I would advise sinking a few thousand into tuning the engine. You will spend less money in the long run. Because they will probably try to shaft you when you trade in your Nismo.
370z -cheap POS
Sadly everything about the 370z is better than the 350z in terms of improvement; looks are subject to the discerning individual. If you can propose one thing negative about the 370z other than the looks, i'd like to hear it.
Normally when someone negates an oncoming inevitability, it's normally because they had their slice of pie, but want more. The 350z is bland and outdated in terms of comparison; a good way to prove this is to put a 350z and a 370z side-by-side. Look at the 300zx and 350z as a comparison... nuff said.
Don't understand where you get your logic from; the 370z is the refreshed version of the 350z (much like the g37 was for the g35). I don't understand the term following:
Clearly this just shows lack of knowledge about the 370z.

Scammer.
No one cares what you think. But anyways, possible I might trade, but right now I need a car with more space, so I rather pay the Z off to keep it, and get myself a truck.

Hey guys,
I was thinking about how 370z SV would compare to 07-08 NISMO 350z.
Me being NISMO owner my self, I like a lot of new things on 370z, I like the fact that car comes with updated Eng and VVEL 3.7L.
But would if you had the chance would you trade out your NISMO for 370z??
Keep in mind that NISMO 350z has somethings, that 350 or 370z do not have and may never have.
Front and Rear Dampers, a true stagger wheel setup 19-inch in rear and 18-inch up front. The only z ever to have been built and tuned my ((Autech)).
I know! I will be taking out a 370z SV for a full test drive when my dealers get's some in.
I know for my self right now, I do not think the 370z is an upgrade over NISMO 350z.
Unless you want 7speed Auto and push button start and other tech toys that come on the car.

True to a point. The 370Z comes with much stickier tires than the 350z ever did so that helps the numbers.

Higher mph shows better handling. The Skidpad shows better grip with tires.
370Z tested was not a NISMO Z. And Btw the NISMO did pull a 4.9 0-60 on one test. Look at the other tests the 370z did, they were in the 5 sec range.
Per what I see they are pretty evenly match. The 370z is not better than a NISMO 350Z. But I expect the NISMO 370Z to be better.

Has a Nismo Z EVER hit 0-60 in 4.7 secs? Has the 370 Z? Yes - MotorTrend Test.
The Nimso Z did the Slalom in 71.0 MPH as you noted above. Per Road and Track, they did the Slalom in 71.4.
The Nismo Z did the skp in .91g as noted above. The 370's best was .99g - MotorTrend test.
The 370Z is a better car overall; faster, stops better, handles as well if not better.
I'm sure the 370Z is a fine handling car, but you really can't tell which is the better handling car from slalom speeds and skidpad numbers. These figures give an insight about chassis dynamics, but is not the end story.
The numbers attained by the 370Z can partially be attributed to its better tires (assuming they have the pole positions) in the skidpad and it's slightly shorter wheelbase in the slalom times. Even if the 370Z has better figures, the Nismo may handle better, who knows, but I'd bet the 370Z handles just as well. Once you put coilovers and other suspension tweaks on the 370Z, I have no doubt it will out-handle the Nismo.
The Nismo is great, but Nissan has had five years to improve on the design, technology and chassis, so I would hope the 370Z would be an improved car. New is better, that's just how it is.
As far as straight-line performance, in real world scenarios such as on the highway, the 370Z will pull and pull quite hard on an stock HR. We can mag race all we want, but it's just a faster car.
Actually no it won't. A HR and a VHR 3.5 vs 3.7 are very close. The G37 does not pull on the 350Zs at all, we still pull on them with the HR. If you actually look at all the times and comare them, they are all in the same range as each other. I don't see a 370Z pulling away by much at all.
