Default 370 interior center stack?

Why would Nissan not use the same interior layout that is in navigation model? I looks so much more modern. In the G35's, the center console is the same in all trim models, navigation or not. I don't have the navigation in my G35 and I think it was very smart of them to have everything work through that lcd screen. The car just has a upscale feel interior at price that is not different from the 370. Why would they not take some of best interior elements from the infiniti and incorporate them like they have with the Maxima and other Nissan models?

1 simple reason: $$$$$$.
If you want its offered and you have to plop down extra dough. If you can't afford it, be content without it. I'd rather they go this route than upping the base price.

Now what sux is that they offer it in an option package, not standalone -- thats my gripe.
