Unless you absolutely hate your 350z I think you made out ok. Sure there will always be something better but some times you just need to step back and be happy you have something that is good.

Hey Guys-
I just picked up an 08 base 350z for $23,500+taxes in orange county with a 1.9Apr and now might be regreating not picking up the new 370Z, how are you guys liking the new 370 and was it worth the wait.
Check out my new car below and are there any great deals going on for the 370 at this current time?

You got a great deal, I bought my '05 ZR a year ago for $21,500. The base $29,500 370Z is marked up to $33,400 at my local dealer - so no deals. Just enjoy the '08 Z for a few years because something better from Nissan will be out when you can trade-in or sell your '08 without losing your $. Maybe a new turbo Sylvia or a turbo 370Z will be introduced.

first of all, hello to my irvine friend
I personally like the 350z looks better than 370z but to each his own.
Stick with 08 for now and trade 350z in for 370z in 2 years or so. First generation 370z will have some problems just like first gen. 350z did.
dont worry. You purchased the right car.
have fun with your car. Wave at other Z's when you see them

10 more horsepower? My math must be horrible then because I thought 332 - 306 is 26.
Anyway, you save about 7 grand with the 2008 base 350Z and I think that is too much of a price difference to consider ditching your Z for the 370Z. Now had you bought your base 350Z at MSRP, then it is a whole different ballgame. I think the best deal I've seen on a brand new base 350Z is $22k here in the Bay Area

I have the new 370 and love it. In terms of bad decision..nah...u got ur 350 for a good price...i loved my 06, and wouldnt have minded waiting a while for a 370. enjoy ur car. there are plenty of mods for it, or just leave it stock. either way the car is a blast. I found no problem with my 370 yet...dont plan on one, but in a couple years pick up a used one for 20's.

I waited TWO YEARS for the 370Z. However I'm in the position to so. The 350Z was tempting to get. For me, it was worth the wait.
BIG HOWEVER: you saved yourself about ten grand in doing so. Ask yourself: is a really nice interior, the upgraded performance (assuming you got the sport pack), better ride, "upgraded" looks (I love) and features like keyless worth 10 grand. You can put some super wide tires, upgrade your audio system and put quite a few performance parts on with that 10K.
To each, his own. We can' tell you if you purchased the wrong car.

That 1.9% is sweet. That is worth a couple G's on it's own in savings. What dealership did you get it at by the way? How many months is your loan for? I think you did a good job with your purchase and deal. If you factor in $200 more a month in payments for 60 months, that is a significant difference. You'll also have ALOT of aftermarket parts to choose from as well as afford since you saved so much. Get a C-west carbon fiber lip kit, volk wheels, exhaust, and lower it. That's about $7g's and your car will be a head turner!
