Where have you been? They moved the brace to directly behind your head when sitting in the car, and also did a V brace underneath the rear to increase rigidity.

I know they moved it to improve performance, but to me, the strut brace on the 350z is sweet looking, esp. when looking through it from the glass. I am not a fan of the new location.

Its much more a usable trunk compared to the 350. I certainly like it.

Moving it forward was a good idea but exposing it as a shiny "pipe" makes it look unfinished and raw. Don't like at all.

It would for me except that there is plenty of that same silver to be found all over the interior. Also, you hardly ever see the thing. Great tie point for a harness.

Yes, I had that thought, too! It's the first thing I thought when I saw it.

It is. And for anyone interested, my wife insisted I make sure my travel luggage fit. I tested it today and it fit. I had to remove the cargo cover, but it's spring loaded and easy to remove. I didn't take any pics. My luggage is the 2 largest pieces in this pic.

Actually question, You know the aluminum bar that goes across the hatch where you might expect a harness bar to go?

How sturdy is it? Can it be modified into a harness bar?

Wow that is wide open. I think it looks good and could be functional. A nice 15" sub facing the rear would sound nice
