ok yes i agree that a 370 with a crap load of money dumped in it looks better then a stock 370...... ?

stock vs stock i still prefer the 350 in the looks department but everything else goes to the 360 hands down including the interior and performance (except for thats stupid digital cluster that looks like crap)

If they were both on the showroom floor, I would spend the extra money for the 370. However, I do not want to trade in my paid-for Z to get a 370.

It's a better car, but not better enough to go from $0 car payment to what, a $300-$500/month car payment.

Matter of likings & finances, bro'; IF you can afford a 370, GO FOR IT! Otherwise, stick with a lower-priced 350. BOTH are thrilling vehicles!

+1

IMO...

I absolutely won't be trading. Not so much 'cause of the looks of the 370 (although i do prefer the clean lines of the 350)or the price, but having driven the 370, i actually dislike the refined feeling of the 370. I feel like i'm driving a Maxima. You can't hear the engine, or exhaust inside the car, and overall it doesn't "feel" like a sports car.

Maybe i'm wierd. I prefer the "harshness" and road noise of my '03.

So with equal drivers, how much quicker down the track do you honestly think that's gonna get you?? I quarentee the gain isn't worth trading in and being upside down, or the difference between a new 2008 350 and a 2009 370.

I'm not talking dyno or magazine racers either!! Hell according to the magazines the Honduh Civic SI runs a 13.2 stock!!!

aparently you don't realize the 370z is a supercar, and comparing it to a 350Z is like comparing a fiat 500 to an enzo

370Z has better handling, interior, amenities, less weight, more power. Damn good reasons to want to move up from a 350Z if you want the latest and greatest iteration. Either way you go, you have a great car.

I think it's alot easier to justify buying the 370 as a "first" Z car. Vice trading in your current Z and being upside down for it. IMO it's not worth being upside down for.

Having had a 2005 350Z for 4.5 years and a 2009 370Z for about 3 weeks I would say that the 370Z does handle noticeably better than the 350. The power increase for me was alot, as I was coming from a 287HP 350Z.

I loved my 350Z, did not plan to get rid of it, but the 370 was an improvement in alot of areas for my situation. It does have a nicer interior, but its hardly like driving a maxima. believe me I know, I had a loaner maxima for 2 weeks while the 370 was being located. I ended up driving my 91 300ZXTT most days instead.

Its just a matter of opinion, but judging by the daily comments I get on the 370 the general opinion is the 370Z is a beautiful car. Taking it to a gas station is an event. Of course its still a new model so most people have not seen one yet (I haven't seen another one yet).

I mean they are both great cars. I liked my 350Z enough I almost kept it too, but I don't have enough garage space for 4 cars.

100% agreed. The financial hit isn't worth buying any new car if you recently purchased another. But someone who just bought a new '07 or '08 would be a fool to trade in on a new 370Z. Hello negative equity.

I guess the greatly improved skidpad numbers mean nothing. Of course, you have a Nismo 350Z, so the difference isn't going to be as pronounced.
Regardless, you can shove your 'BS flag' up your ***.

I keep forgetting when i hear 350z i compare it to the nismo.I was offered to drive one but turned it down, more blind spots than mine and less side to side leg room, which means less comfortable for me and less cargo space(even with the bar).I like the appearence of mine better but that is subjective and as far as the handling goes i'm waiting to see that first hand.Having said that i don't even want to keep mine.I will go back to american muscle if and when i sell this one.I'll give up the handling for an engine that is more mod friendly and has more to show for it than the z.

How about the Nismo 370z?

If you want to compare a car with performance-tuned suspension and equipment to a normal Z...

I should have said "it sucks that our HR-Equipped 350Z's (especially my lowly Enthusiast) are now outclassed, but it is what it is"
