did you know the the top 3 competitors of the 370z are the 1) RX8 2) S2000 3)Corvette ??

I don't think so because you didn't get to read their private marketing data. I'm not criticizing your thread or anything, it's just that in the first post I believe you said this was aimed for youngsters and that is not the case at all..
It's all good.
I based this thread on looks alone. IMO the 370 looks like a younger car. With all the doo-dads and body kit looks on the outside. Obviously, at least as far as members here are concerned, according to the poll so far i was wrong. But my goal wasn't to be right, i was honestly curious how the different age groups felt about it.

I'm 44 so not sure how young feel about it. Like has already been posts, target is late 20's early 30's. Z4 is also another strong competitor.
Agree

If you look at my link to the Z4 M Coupe they read so similar in basic dimensions and power.....glad they took the Z to "sports car" dimensions

I will be 29 this year and I think the new Z is great....so if I was their target they did well....not super keen on the fangs or boomerang lights but the front bumper can easily be changed.....the overall design is a step forward from the 350 and paying homage to the 240 was a big bonus

I'm over 26 and prefer the 350.

Not sure if this has been pointed out yet but your poll may be skewed by younger people voting in favor of the 350 because they may not be able to afford a 370. That said, right now it looks like the Z youth are favoring the 350 by a slight margin.

I see your point.

Hopefully everyone realizes this is based purely on external looks only. Reguardless of income, or affordability.

I am 29 currently have a 350 but like the looks of the 370 better. However the trade in value of my z is so low I can't justify trading it in. I think I will just wait 1 more year until it is paid off and buy a 370.

Exactly. That's why it's so perfect as my mid-life crisis car. I'm 51.

We need more people to vote. 282 voters isn't enough to conclude a sample of our society.

I'm 21 and think the 370z is miles ahead of the 350z in pretty much every department.
