read up, the chassis and platform is the same, the only diff it is rear will drive, with different suspension. notice I do not through insults. I own 03 350, wanted 370 until I read up on how it is built. 370 has maxima chassis with diff suspension. Putting same design headlight on 370 as maxima was just dumb, besides ugly and hideous
Platform Alphabet Soup and a Smaller Sporty Nissan
While the original Z rode on Nissan’s FM (for front-midship) platform, the 2009 370Z rides on the new E platform that encompasses former FM vehicles as well as some international vehicles on the FR-L architecture, which denotes “Front-engine, Rear-drive, and Large”—all part of Nissan’s platform consolidation efforts. The 370Z will share the E platform with much of the Infiniti lineup, including the FX, EX, M, and G coupe and sedan.

Maxima, Altima, Murano, Rogue, Sentra all share the same platform.
350z, G35, M35/45, FX35/45, EX35/45 all share the same platform.
Maxima has nothing that the Z has except maybe a few electronics.
