Default 370Z for 22k?

So, I was tooling around over on Club RSX (trying to sell my 350) and someone over there said that you can buy a new 370Z for 22k after the "$7,000 rebate."

What do you guys think? I got a quote for one months back for $42,000. Sure, it was the Grand Touring, but doesn't 22k seem a bit low? Or, is it true?

Yeah, I didn't think it had any truth to it. I'm very glad that it doesn't, because that'd make it VERY difficult to sell my 350 for $23,500 lol

I'm sorry, but LOL.

You should tell "Club RSX" that Nissan is in the business of trying to make money, not losing a substantial amount of money on each sale.

Wait, hold on...you think you're going to sell an '06 for anywhere near 23 grand?

That right there is comedic gold, sir.

First, I'd say you were a bit lucky, and secondly I'd also say even between January and now (end of March) the market is different even in such a short timeframe. You can get into a brand new '08 sitting on the dealer lot for that or less.

brand new 2008 Zs already lost value because we are in the year 2009. they have to get rid of them asap before they lose more money.

Yeah, a good quality set of wheels can raise the price a bit. I know I paid a bit of a premium for my Z with iForged about 3 years ago. Not much, but a bit.
