Default Auto/Paddle Shift vs Manual

Hey guys, I have only driven the auto in paddle shift and I realised when I went down a gear it made a loud noise, nice and loud.

Just wondering, does this happen with the 6 speed manual? Is it the synch rev at work, is that why?

Would the manual or paddle shift be quicker 0-100?

The auto Z isn't a sequential manual, it's just an automatic. Not bashing, but the technology in the Auto vs the Manual couldn't be any more different.

Was the sales person in the car with you? Did you ask him/her what that noise was?

I have the paddles & love it. I do wish it was as loud as the 350Z because the 370Z seem much more quiet.
