Thanks for helping me decide :)
I've been lurking here for a little bit, doing research on the new 370z.
I've been looking into a lot of different cars in the 40-50 range (STI, Evo MR, G37, Cayman, TTS, S2000).
I test drove it today and I gotta say that it was one of the most fun driving experiences I've had in a while. It's just a pure sports car, no bs... just punch it and go. The synchro rev was also awesome, it makes you feel like you're a way better drive than you really are. It's so good it might make you a worse driver on a normal stick because you're so used to the synchro rev
Ultimately, I decided to go with the 09 Audi TTS because I wanted something with AWD and that was a bit more on the luxury side than just pure sport, but still in my price range. But if I had a weekend car (and I didn't live in the rainy Northwest), it'd be tough to beat the 370z!
Anyway, just wanted to say a lot of stuff you guys posted on here was very useful in helping me decide. So thanks for the helpful info

A grown up bhole would not just jump into a conversation with an insult. Read the posts carefully and see if there is anything insulting about this.

I don't give a rat shiet if we've given you info. FYI, don't try to sugar coat your thread with your positive experience.......etc. I can smell BS a mile away. You don't just come in here and tell us,"Hey guys, I got an Audi over your Z. Bye!" Now you've gotten yourself an Audi, just be prepared to fork out the maintenance bill with your unreliable hunk of junk........Last edited by Changvi; Jun 7, 2009 at 11:54 AM.
You may be the only person in the NW who cites rain as a problem for a rear drive car. I've got a base 350z (no traction control) and I drive it aaaallll fall and winter. It hardly drops below 40 degrees so you never have to worry about being too cold for the tires. Oh well. The TT is damn sexy though. Wish I had enough money for the RS when it comes out.
