Exactly. The idea is shed as much weight as humanly possible, knowing that about 100-130lbs is going to immediately go back in between the cage and safety gear.

To be honest, probably not. Many of the parts will be custom fitted to the race car, and won't be bolt-on for a stock car. For instance, but completed removing the rear muffler, we can create a very nice underbody difuser. This is thing that would not bolt onto a normal 370Z with a traditional rear section exhaust.
But as the project progresses, we'll look at offering any bolt on parts for sale.

Made quite a bit more progress, and the pile is getting bigger. 





We're about to pull off the interior crash bar, and pull out the heater core/blower, and all the other uneeded items from under there. THere is a quite a bit of weight locked up under the dashboard.
