Default Any Recurring Issues With The 370Z?

just wondering if there were any issues with the new 370Z since its in its first year? someone once told me that when a product is new there could be things that come up unexpectedly, and that often times they are fixed from one model year to the next.

so, does anybody know of anything that seemed to be a recurring problem with the new 370Z? anything at all? should i not hesitate in buying a '09 370Z or should i wait for the '10 370Z?

Mike

Im about 1600 all good. Id wait until 10 to get heated mirrors standard. Youll need an oil cooler if you want to track it.

Can I ask what you paid for your 370Z and options and from which dealership?
I went to New Nissan and got booted with them thinking I had no money since I told them about my $2200 month salary...I was trying to haggle w/o disclosing my net worth of course...

But I work where I work out of choice and with friends,...I got enough in my Trust fund to own an 05 Subaru Legacy GT, 08 Titan KC, 05 E55 AMG, and share ownership with my wife's 04 Honda Element that is all paid for and have title too..and own my house with no mortage.

What snobs,..

So you didn't disclose any unnecessary crap to the dealer.. Ok..Wise choice..

But then you turnaround and tell a bunch of strangers on a forum?

No sign of tire wear issues like the early 350Zs had?

really doubt it, that issue was resolved and remained unheard of for the last 4 production years of the 350z's existence

As far as track use is concerned... the need for dual oil coolers is a must... - it will overheat. and if the fuel is lower than 1/2 full - there is a great poss. it will go into limp mode through the turns...

The rear quarter windows are useless, if that's what you mean.

Ive got this problem where some days the windows will roll auto roll down so that they wont catch on the top of lip of the roof, some days they wont. Some days i can get them to roll down/up with the with the key (from outside the car). Probably my biggest issue with the car so far is... any amount of water on the roof or windshield always finds its way inside the car. The water runoff design sucks. Probably not a big thing, but living out in Hawaii there's always quite a bit of condensation on the car.
