I just got mine today. Silver auto 29,565 09 destination charge included, and a spoiler. I had to arm wrestle the guy but i got it that price. Valencia,CA.
And yes, originally they were throwing in 33 something, but i went in with a quote from another dealer and they matched it.
Also i traded in my 350z but i had crazy miles on it 93K. I got a good price on it also, so its all good. Just do your research, man, and send out for a bunch of quotes online. That's what i did.....but i do miss my 350z....:-( i hope it goes to a good home.

I went to the dealership over the weekend up here in Portland and looked at a Touring Sport Package that was $43,900 asking price, $41,800 MSRP. With an additional $4,921 off MSRP brought it down to $36,800. I offered $33,900 and my 350Z for $10,500. They would've taken the deal if I agreed to $36,800. Invoice should be around $35,535 if you go to Edmunds, but in reality neither we or the salesman know the true invoice. For all we know the invoice could be $30,000. Thus if they don't take my offer they are stupid. They will be spending more money with 7 of them on their lot than earning interest off me
#1 no one in their right mind would by a 370Z for $40K if you can talk down to Invoice (or below) why not? #2 economy sucks and no one will buy a sports car especially in the fall and coming winter #3 they want to get rid of the 2009 models for the 2010 and #4 if your credit is excellent and with that would allow them to boost their ability to give good financing rates to others with not so good credit. I'd say spend a couple more G's if you can and get full options, you'd be happier with it (believe me) and resale value would be higher. More potential buyers looking for full options in the years to come in the used market.
P.S. just as StonePilot (my bretheren) said, get other quotes and see if other dealerships will match the price. BS them and also let them know you can easily get a BMW 1-Series that is up to par with the 370Z (youtube the video if you haven't seen the review) for less than $30K with 5 years maintenance costs paid by Bimmer
Good luck my friend and I definitely think you can get the Base for $27K.

You can see their ad online. It would be worth it at that pricing to have it transported to Illinois.
Since you are not planning to buy until sometime in 2010, no one can give you a realistic answer at this time. Crystal ***** go blurry when trying to look 3 to 15 months in the future. I suspect that by the middle of next year, you will be able to find a 370Z within your price range.
I just checked their website and it says 350Z not 370z.
Man i cant wait ti get it next year its gonna be a long wait. Its gonna be a daily driver so im kinda scared for winter. I had a 350 z it wasnt too bad with winter tires on it.
