I view these xxth edition vehicles as a bit of a restriction on your creative freedom in modifying the car.
For example, if you had this 40th edition model it restricts you from , say, upgrading to 6 spot front calipers as you'd lose the 40th edition red ones and hence the instant recognition as a 40th edition model. Not in terms of absolute restiction - hell u can do what u want - but why bother w/the 40th special edition if you go and change the things that makes it stand out as a 40th edition?
To me, its all very nice these special edition models, but the real fun in cars (and all things in life) is applying your creative artistic mind to modifications that make yours unique, or at least different from the factory version. Its not rational, but then sports cars appeal to the irrational beast in us all and thank the gods for that!

Not everyone sees a car as a canvass for their artistic expression of self.

Yes it is, but when talking about the 370z and looks... it'll always be a lesser of 2 evils situation. Oh and before the "you just say it's ugly because you bought a hr" or "I'm so over people saying it's ugly" posters come on, it's my opinion, which I'm entitled to, especially on a "discussion forum"
any one know if there will be mechanical changes?
