New 370z
How do the extra 32 horsies feel?
I have an 06 as well and I'm thinking about doing the same thing in the near future.
Didnt like the new design at first (like most) but I just seen one the other day in the flesh and wow
It's a sexy machine

It's not just about the extra HP. As you probably know, they changed to the HR engine in 07 which was a nice improvement over the rev-up. On paper the engines look identical but the HR spools up faster which makes the car seem quicker. The 09 still has the HR but more power. When i first test drove the 09 i wasn't really impressed. That's because i kept the revs under 3k rpms. The second time i tested it i wound it out to 5.5k rpms. I tell you this car really comes alive at around 4.5k rpms. There is a very noticable improvement over the 06.

I agree completely with your assessment Zultimate. I also went from an 06 Rev-up (spacer/mrev2/hks/popcharger), and there is definitely an improvement, in power, with the 370z over my old 350z. Not only that, but the interior, in my opinion, is a lot better. The only thing I miss about the 350z was the exhaust note versus the 370z. But that's not a big problem to me. An exhaust is probably next on my list. Also, I came from a base model, so LSD, VDC, SRM, etc are added bonuses to me. IMO, you can't go wrong moving to the 370z.
As a side note, i do agree with you about the exhaust. I'll probably be installing a Borla unit sometime in the spring.
Completely agree with you about the interior. IMO, the interior went from "pretty nice" in the 350 to "world class" in the 370 - at least in the touring model. I love the way the car looks from every angle. The big tires and 19 in wheels that come with the sport package really fill out those huge fenders nicely. All the cosmetics aside, you can't help but love that extra power from the 3.7 and the synchro tranny is wonderful. Anyone who doesn't think the 370 is a huge improvement over the 350 is not really looking. Either that are they are blinded by loyalty to their current car.

The rest of the car is very nice. When I chop the picks to remove the light tear drop, I fall in love with the car instantly.
Hopefully they fix that blunder.
Goes into the category of "can't please everyone." I actually like the headlights. The 350Z headlights are boring IMO.

Here's an interesting article I found about the 370z. it makes some comparisons to the 350z also.

Do you still have your 350Z? I think you know I sold my Vette and purchased a 370Z. Still have my 350 too though.
Beautiful!! That was a great amount for the trade on the 06, congrats!
I've been debating on trading my 05 in but hate to start all over. Hell, I love the 370's but if I'd get one I wouldn't feel right until I had (at least) wheel spacers, exhaust, and lowered. As much of an improvement as it is over my 05 - I think I might feel like I'm stepping backwards... hmm
