It doesn't, it has the standard 332 HP

The 40th anniversary is a lot more rarer than the Nismo, they're only making 1000 40th's.

I prefer to say that "I have a Nismo" than "I have a 40th anniversary nissan"

if the above statement is true and you're looking for a higher collector's value then this should end the debate right then and there.

5 year difference isn't considered a collector's item as of yet...the OP is talking about 15+ years down the road

dude don't buy new , there are gonna be a ton of old bored rich guys who will grab up tons of NISMO's and 40ths. Then a year from now you can buy one for 10G less. There are 2009 NISMOs with 2k miles for 32 grand.

I'd get a 2009 NISMO if I was you. Looks sick and has the extra tad of performance.

My only pet peeve about the Nismo is the lack of leather but you can always throw 2 seats in there and put the stock back in when you wanna sell it. The Navigation I could care less but leather is nice to have. However the extra performance from Nismo makes it more worthwhile for me.

Coming from a guy who has been a part of the 370 community for over a year now and a member on the other site for the same amount of time, independent dyno tests have shown that the Nismo version, while marketed to have 350bhp, dynos around 285whp, which is the same as the standard 370z. While 09 Nismos can be had now in the mid to low 30's, daily driven performance is negligible, it has the same brakes as the Sport 370 and an exhaust that has been independently tested to make 4whp. The best feature of the Nismo is the suspension which is quite stiff, makes the car handle like a champ but is an extremely bumpy ride if you plan to purchase it for a daily driver. If you want the exclusivity with the nearly the same performance, go with the 40th.
