Thread is full of epic win. GTFO troll.
Couple weeks (or was it months? Can't remember) a design sketch of the new Z was released. I'll try and find it again and post it up, it looks sexy as ****. And they're still sticking with the idea of either a turbo diesel or hybrid. Haven't heard much on the V8 idea, I think because they're trying to keep it out of the V8 muscle car genre and go with fuel efficient/fast as a ****/great weight distribution. Once I finish up my current projects on both of my cars I've already opened up a savings account so I can either upgrade or... do something else with the money I've saved up, haha.

I saw a few rumors saying that there won't be another Z? They are going to once again be discontinued? I sure hope that those are just rumors because I was really looking forward to purchasing a new Z in my 30's - 40's.

While a completely stock 350Z is getting old, add a few mods and it will turn much more heads than a 370Z.
Most people I know who don't even own a Z think the 350Z exterior is an amazing design. I share their opinions.
The fact that I have a 350Z doesn't bias my opinion, there are lots of cars that look better than mine, if the 370 did, id be the first to admit it.
Anyway, I won't make a drama out of your immature posts, you sound like someone whos gonna end up driving into a wall anyway, we'll see how your great 370 will look then.

The 350Z dropped my jaw when I first saw one on the highway in 2003. Three years later I became the owner of one. For whatever the reason, the same thing didn't happen when I saw my first 370Z. If anything, my first impression of the car "in person" was that it looked bigger then the 350Z even though it's supposed to be smaller. I've seen a total of 5 on the road to date and that is still the impression I get.
Would I buy a 370Z? No. Why? There's not enough of a difference to make it worth the expense...plain and simple. It has nothing to do with looks per se.
I am looking forward to what comes next. By that time it will be a reasonable move to upgrade as my car will be pushing 8 or 9 years I would imagine. But I may just keep it since by then it will still only have 40 to 45K miles on it. Even now at 5 years with 25K, my car still looks like I just bought it. I like the car. I have no reason to buy another.
I bet everyone who owns a 350Z could give you a completely unanticipated explanation for why they would not buy a 370Z as I just did. It's all relative...just like women.

This is how i feel. The 350z floored me when i first saw it. Unfortunately, i was 14 when it came out and had no chance to buy one. When the 370z came out, i was really disappointed. First time i saw it in real life, i was still disappointed. BUT, as time goes by, i like it more and more. A black or graphite 370z looks sick from the side. From a performance and interior perspective, they are great. But, once i see a 350 and a 370 side by side its no competition, 350z just vibes with me so much more. Id say the worst thing about the 350z is the massive number i see on the road. The 370z has it on rarity, but that might change. 350s were rare for the first ~3 years.
Also, LOL at this thread. Car guys cant agree on ANYTHING

I have a Z32 and wanted a new Z, when the Z34 came out I had to have one. I think it's much better than the 350Z.
Also you can't even know what the next model will be called. It could easily be called 370/380Z.
240Z, 260Z, 280Z, 300ZX, 300ZX, 350Z, 370Z... lol
Maybe they should turbo it and call it a 370ZX.

i do own a 370z, i really dig all the z's but i feel the 70 is without a doubt is the fastest/powerful z yet.
I only wonder if they are going the discontinue the z due to hard time???

seems a bit big for a "tuner" car. 350z=3.5 engine 370z=3.7 engine. any bigger would be dumb. i personally think that a turbo 370z would be great! there hasn't been a good turbo rwd car for a while(correct me if i am wrong)

I just signed up here to revive this thread and let all you delusional ricers know that the 370 does in fact look better than the 350. I'm not even going to call you idiots jealous, because obviously you are fine with your plain ugly looking 50. And I would take the newer model's exterior, including catfish headlights, over the old one any day. It's cute that you guys think the 350 looks better, keep telling yourself that. Every time I pull my 70 to my friends 50 he can't stop staring at my car and I can't even look at his. Seriously if you guys want to talk crap about lights, the 50 has an even uglier ****. I just hate kids like you guys who think you are cool because you have an old Z worth 10 grand.
If you cant understand that everyone has their own opinion, likes and dislikes and u can only criticize and bash others for not having what is acceptable to YOU, then that just makes u another immature 12yo in need of an attitude adjustment and reality check and dont deserve to have this 370 that you claim, hell i dont find it "acceptable" for you to OWN a Z car, you need a Honda, you sound like a RICER there. I'll bet that what you really have, a lil civic mom bought you with milti colored spray painted steelies and a 10 foot spoiler....
Get a life and go troll somewheres else......you just signen up? well, you need to just sign DOWN, douche!!
