Default Z1 Motorsports (Crappy Service)

They advertise having a 370Z cargo net in stock and charge 85 bucks. They send me tracking information saying it will be here on 10/19/10. I get a call on 10/21/10 saying its out of stock and could be a few weeks. Check there website again and the price is now up to 125 and still showing in stock....

Now I keep getting emails from a Joel stating im not happy cancel my order. Well im not happy, but i have this strong feeling your only saying this to me because your charging more now for the cargo net. So I have no clear answer when im getting it, and the service that im getting is poor.

If this was not a present from someone it would be different. I guess I'm just waiting until they decide to tell me the truth.

Cant stand lying vendors. You don't have it in stock don't pose like you do.

Anyone know of a loyal company who sells this net? Post it up, and save someone else the headache they have given me.

oh and just fyi there is no cargo net for the 370z, they are probably sending/selling the 350z one as the 370z as many vendors and even nissan is doing. It doesn't fit though.

I think Iceman is right, also there are vendors that sell the net for $30-40 and I'm sure the plastic anchors can't be more than $3-5 each. Granted you wil spend a hour or two fitting it in. With that being said, I've only had great service from this group. I have had problems but they fix them quickly and with no fuss. Sorry to hear about yours.

I have the cargo net from my 350Z, it doesnt fit at all. I actually contacted courtesy nissan parts. And they said yeah thats a mistake shouldnt be listed like that thank you for letting us know Ill take it down.

The one Z1 is "selling but not shipping" is JDM, and coming from Japan. This was there excuse as to why they havent shipped it. When it gets here if it does, Ill let you know if it came from Japan or there full of crap.

This is what there advertising. And you can see the price went up from when I purchased it. He keeps insisting to cancel my order. Looks to me like there just trying to get 45 dollars more for these.

I am not aware of a cargo convenience package for the 370Z like the 350Z. But I did find this: http://www.courtesyparts.com/nissan-...714_9085_9091&

Good afternoon everyone,
This post has been brought to our attention and I think that there are a few things that need to be cleared up regarding this issue. I will do my best to address all comments and questions listed above:

1. RedbullPR - You commented on how you feel that we are trying to get you to cancel your order, so that you will be charged more later. This is completely false. The fact of the matter is that we will not ask you to pay MORE if the price increases while an item is on backorder. In your case RedBullPR, the price did in fact increase in the last few days, during which your order was still being held due to being on backorder. If you had canceled your order due to a lengthy wait, we would not be able to guarantee that the lower price will be honored later.

2. ICEMAN21_23 - You commented on the fact that these are not JDM. You are actually incorrect. I will admit, Nissan NORTH AMERICA does not sell a true 370z-spec rear cargo net. The USDM cargo net is in fact the same as the 350z. However, the Japanese spec 370z does have a completely separate and unique cargo net. I personally listed this product on our website, took the photos etc.

3. Viva La spam..... the actually Nissan List on this part $140. We are generally VERY competitive on pricing on any OEM Nissan part and will either meet or beat any competitor's pricing (given that it is an advertised, none "sale" price).

4. JDM Part Availability - Being a JDM part, they can be difficult to get a hold of. This issue is only compounded by the parts popularity, which can build up lengthy backorders at times on certain products. For example. even if we were to order 1000 of a particular item, Nissan Japan may only send us 2 over the course of a few months. This is very frustrating and very common.

5. Ordering Process & Status - As far as products being placed on Back Order, we generally strive to contact the customers within a day or two, notifying them of items that are out of stock. In most cases we can provide a close estimate on the parts expected arrival. Unfortunately JDM parts are not always easy to predict and are frequently accompanied by unpredictable shipping times.

We actually received a large order of JDM parts late yesterday evening. Included in this shipment was a few JDM Cargo Nets. All pending back orders will be filled and shipped Monday!

If you have any questions regarding this or any other product we offer, feel free to contact me here at the shop!

Not uncommon for catalog shots to use a phot back drop. Rather than drop straight down to the ground creating a shadow, it curves to gradually meet the ground.

While this is true, that photo does look like they backed it up to the wall, my guess is for the same reason DkMesa suggested (to hide details that don't bring any use impact in to the image).

Z1 has had many unhappy people from 300zxclub. There are a few threads about it. I have a z32 and a z33. So I order parts for both.

Here is my experience with them. When i ordered online; everything is great. Every time I call, they seem to have an arrogance to them.

Once i needed a few hundred worth of items for my z32 and i needed them over night. I called a few places to get prices. Called josh at Z1 and he told me to email him the items i needed. I told him that i needed them the next day so i was on crunch time to get the items ordered. I emailed him, and he never got back to me. not even at a later date. After a few hours i decided to call back concept z. the time to overnight was past, but coz over there got them on the over night shipping and i was happy.

Unfortunately from all the threads that i have read about z1 and my experience with them, i will never order from them.

Also i want to give props to M-Motorsports on here. I bought some stuff from him and he was very helpful in finding out the info i needed, whereas the others that i contacted didn't put forth any effort.
