We posted this over on *******.com, but thought it might be kind of a hit here, so here goes.
We put a camera over the brand new #05 car once it came back as a bare caged chassis from the powder coater, and it took one picture every minute for two and a half weeks as the AM crew hustled to finish it in time for Laguna Seca two weeks ago. The car was finished at about 3 AM the morning on July 7th, and was on track less than eight hours later! This is a video of a miracle in progress! The amount of work that went into this car, as well as the heavy modifications and service being performed on the #04 next to it, is simply off the charts for a less than three weeks!
lol @ the obvious lunch breaks, random dog in the shop around 4ish minutes, and lets take that bumper off a few hundred more times.
Awesome build vid!
Some of those lunch breaks are actually at like 10 PM! That dog is Jack, he is an integral and occasionally incredibly annoying member of the team, and finally, there is a lot more fab work behind the bumper than you might think! We also had them wrap four bumpers, to have spares, and they all have to be fitted to the body work. So, yeah you end watching us install bumpers like 20 times!
Very well done, I have been following you folks closely.....keep at it Gents...thanks for putting Nismo back on the track. Will see you at Daytona next year!
