how to remove sticky strip on convertable lid
2013 Roadster - the sticky strip is the landing area for the soft-top when it is closed. After some years it looks awful! It is not like a plastic label that you can heat with a heat gun and just peel off. Heating it just turns it into soft gunk. GooGone won't touch it nor will alcohol or WD40 or Mineral Spirits. Nor could I get it off with rubbing compound. Any suggestions?
