This has to be THE CAR of the Millennium. It is already a ICON and a LEGEND and it's barely released.

Damn I want this car...

+1 on the repost... Although I don't doubt the GTR is an extremely good performer, let's not forget that this "test" was conducted with a Nissan company driver operating all three vehicles for the test.

+1. The vette and turbo were probably told to stay back a little bit. This reminds me of that Nissan 350Z promotion race vid a while back with the 350Z vs M3 vs S2K vs Boxster S where the R34 chase car was intentionally blocking the M3 from getting ahead... since it was the only car really capable of beating the Z in that lineup.

Ordinarily I'd agree but the race was in the rain, and you could clearly see the M3 losing it on almost every corner exit. A dry race would have a bit different results, at least as far as time goes.

I don't believe Steve Millen has raced for Nissan recently. In fact, if you look at his history (http://www.stillen.com/page.asp?heritage1), you'll see that he's driven for GM and most recently Ford. You can also see that his times weren't far off independent times with the Z06 and 911T.

Yeah, but some things are worth re-mentioning! And not all persons who visit the board and this forum even look at the GT-R section.

awesome, now if they could just make a version that looked good...

kinda glad it's ugly though, since it doesn't tempt me to buy one

Ugly is exactly the word I would use to describe it. Those lines are awful. They could have done so much better and they just blew it...

I'll admit that picture with the bright paint and black wheels doesn't look as bad as some of the other pictures, but I still don't think the shape is nice looking

-I don't mind the rear, but the spoiler is ugly
-The front fenders are too bulky
-The fender vents look awkward with that shape sticking out on the top of it
-That line coming out from the bottom of the fender vent looks unbalanced or unfinished
-The two nostrils on the hood look small and bare, not very aggressive
-The front black area seems unfinished
-The sharp crease over the rear window to make room for rear passengers seems forced

Awesome! Looks as if Nissan has built a real supercar. No one can say its just hype anymore.

+1 to the ugly comments . The car does not look like 75k but I havent seen it in person so I will reserve judgement until then. Not that looks really matter since I'd rock it even if i thought it wasnt all that great looking.

Chunky, squat, and aggressive are the adjectives I would use to describe it.
