)' version. If all they did was a suspension upgrade, take out back seats, and turn up the boost, then I wouldn't even consider it.
I'm pretty sure the back seats on the GT-R arent made of lead so taking off 300 lbs will probably need a little more then that... and I agree the price seems a little high from the numbers there saying... and no crap it will lap the ring in less then 7:30 lol the normal one does that... I think they should make it around same price as the ZR-1 as thats really gonna be its best bang for the buck competition...
waiting for more details...

yeah mizuno said in an interview this past winter like 20 a month or something. but i wonder if he meant globally.
also the reason i was told why its being shown as "spec V" not "V spec" is there is like a US suspension ( or a something like that cant remember) maker that has a product line called that and Nissan wants the car to be named the same globally so they are using spec V to avoid copyright issues
It probably has carbon ceramic brakes and lots of carbon fiber on the body panels. It was speculated that Nissan would include CCB if it helps in the braking department. At that price, they better include it.
It was also mentioned before that Carbon fiber will be used on the hood, fenders and doors. Let's hope that is the case. $130k is alot of dough.
I hope R&T is wrong and that the MRSP is around $100k.

Yeah i would have thought it would be 100k base and 130k loaded with markup. I wonder if they changed anything on the awd system.
Would the Super HICAS system/rear active steer improve the performance of GT-R in general?

I doubt Super HICAS would do anything for the handling. It's used mainly for high speed. I hated that on my ztt. I think still STILLEN even came up with a hicas eliminator.
i doubt they will add the Super HICAS system... its never been put on a GT-R before (i think) and it would add weight, not remove...
personally, i've never liked the HICAS system... i almost lost it in my 300zx at 140mph cuz of the HICAS system...
BTT - i also hope MSRP on the spec-v is closer to 100k... 60k markup for a retuned motor/suspension and CCB seems a bit high...

Anyhow...with 20-30 or so built a month, and the handful of wealthy enthusiasts, tuner shops and race teams wanting to promote or be competitive, Nissan will probably not have a problem selling these Spec-V-Spec.

I highly doubt they would put rear active steer as from what ive heard this system actually would slow down a professional driver by kind of second guessing them on corners and it will add weight to an already fata$$... and i believe they used it on previous GT-R's, 300ZX, and G37's...

I don't see it as a very business-like move. I wouldn't pay $130k for a Nissan.
I know Nissan isn't a bad car company, but there's just better quality and luxurious things out there.
