These are cars at the new MSRP - i.e. what someone would configure them at on nissanusa.com?

I wasn't asking about markup - just wondering if the MSRP is now from the mid-year price increase.

If I could afford one, I'd buy it in a second... that is if I could get my hand on a GT-R.

they would be stupid to mark them up when somebody could just buy one at MSRP at another dealership or better yet, in another state and not pay taxes.

How you going to buy a car in another state and register it in California without paying taxes? Not only that, if you bring a new car in state to register, they will make you smog it.

Go online and find a gtr being sold at MSRP $79,090, and post it here.

There are a number of GT-R's available under that price right now if a person is willing to travel to get it.

Visit a GT-R specific forum where they get listed all the time. I paid $2k over old MSRP about 3 weeks ago *In California*..

If people refused to line the pockets of dealers you wouldn't have to pay MSRP.
