You know I used to think like you until I bought my Condo. It’s wayyy cheaper to rent and take a chance with parking on the street IMO.
I’m paying more than $2500 a month in mortgage with utilities and single. When I used to rent it was 1G and everything included...
Yeah i got a private parking spot now but its really not as simple as you make it sound. I would be rollin in a 100k car as well if i did'nt buy my home... As many people on here probably do living home with mommy and driving these high end cars

Op says he was in dallas for 6 weeks.......if i remember correctly from the DFW lounge, he was up in dallas for work trip, so im guessing that must be a hotel parking lot or something like that where his garage is at home?

Some people rather not deal with all the crap that comes with owning a house (ie. lawn care). Hell, I tell my wife all the time, if it wasn't for her I would have the only Lambo sitting next to my double wide. I would be king of the trailer park!!
Well... there is some rich kid in my apts that has one and while there is a parking garage he always leaves it out....
... then that little arm you see that goes up and down when you get your ticket to the parking garage closed down on it one day and broke the front window... LUL!!!!!

i was in dallas for 6 weeks why would i own a house or anything in dallas, i dont live there.
i said i had to LEAVE it out side the whole time hinting i have no place of storage.
She is home now and she is in the garage where she is everynight.
No i didnt try to open the door lol i just left it there for the day to though out.

The garage thing is debateable, however I would hope you'd buy a car cover if you park your car outside.
