GTR vs LFA
Used GTR's are going for 50K right now and are better in every way except straight line 100+.
Nissan > everyone except ferrari.
P.S. 1 car length will never be worth 320K haha
i'll take the LFA if i had all the money in the world and had nothing else to waste my money on
..but that'll never happen.. so the closest to a super car that i'll get into would be my Z lol.

i would have loved to see toyota spend a part of those 10 yrs developing the next supra...those cars are timeless like our z's and to own one of each would truly be special.
<rant> i hate how comparing cars has become a numbers game...can't wait for top gear's analysis on the overall personality of this LFA...right now I'm not a big fan </end rant>

imo its not going to be about bang for the buck or 1 car length in the 1/4. people who have money will buy it just cause they can. 90% of them might end up in a celebrity's possession that couldn't tell you the difference between horsepower and an actual horse.
people with money do things that dont quite make sense, they pay for gold toilets for christ sakes. so that is what its going to be about. having what the common man or slightly above common man can't.
in the same boat - that I would take a modded GTR but thats coming from the mentality of someone that doesnt have a money tree.
If I had the kind of money that I can have a 300k car then obviously I would have and insane GTR as well (along with countless other insane cars.)

While being 4 times the price of a GTR, the LFA doesn't perform 4 times better. I would take the GTR hands down. IMHO, the GTR is the complete performance package.
you spend the 50K that you have in your wallet learning how to drive and you'll be faster than 95% of the GTR going around a race track with actual turns... (and probably still have a decent sum of money to have fun).
even without upgrading the 370z.
that kind of car is sold because somebody CAN actually buy it... not just for the performance...
otherwise why buy a veyron for 1.7M to drive it on the street... sometimes, if you don't drive it in a lake.
The LFA does have exclusivity (did I spell that right?). Only 150 are coming stateside. Does that justify the price? No? But to a car collector it may...
