Default Forged Performance: JRZ Silent Edition Coilover Install

Today we are wrapping up one of our client's daily-driven, yet weekend tracked GT-R's. What started out as an occasional track day here and there, has turned into a monthly routine for him. After pushing the car fairly hard on mostly stock suspension we decided that some upgraded coilovers from JRZ would be in order. As developed during our track and street testing last year, our JRZ RS Pro Silent Edition Coilovers use a 750lb front and 600lb rear spring rate and combine the best features of a street and race system. These are the same coilovers that Sharif turned some low 1:30's at Road Atlanta in full weight street GT-R's. It uses the same motorsports pro body as the race shock, while retaining the OEM top mount. This results in superb on-track handling, while keeping the system very quiet and compliant on the street with no noises or rattles. We also installed a set of Dodson Adjustable Front Upper Control Arms for much needed increased negative camber up front. This will give us a full range of adjustments of both shocks, bars, and alignment for maximum performance. In addition to the suspension based modifications a set of Volk G2 wheels in 20x10 +30 and 20x11 +15 in matte black finish were added to the mix with Toyo R888 285/35/20 and 315/30/20 to give this GT-R some extra grip when needed. The owner is flying in Thursday night for some track work at Road Atlanta on Friday. For a mostly stock looking car, this is one very fast track package. we will report back this weekend with laptimes, some interesting data acquisition results, and other feedback from both Sharif and the customer.
