Default World's First 8 Second R35 GTR

The AMS ALPHA 12. They finally did it. Great job AMS!
1500 hp out of a TT V6. It proved itself as a replacement for the RB26.

That's the stuff you can build when you sell $1300 single canister exhaust systems, $750 intercoolers, and $350 intercooler pipe kits.

I wish I had a garage like that at the beginning of the vid. Would make it so easy to work on projects.

Actually, those prices I quoted are for their Evo parts (35k car). They would make sense on a 90k car. Basic bolt-ons and a tune shouldn't equal 10% of the cars value. My point being...they charge a lot for the Evo and Subie parts, thus they have the resources to make 8 sec GTRs. So in a way, the GTR folks can thank the Evo/Subie/DSM crowd for making this happen.

So if they demand $64,000 for their alpha 10 performance package, how much would this package cost? $90,000? Low volume car, I get it.

Don't want to try to start an argument but you sound pretty bitter that this car, engine, and drivetrain is the new king. Much superior to an EVO/STI and you feel that your 'crowd' of people is the reason why GTR's have reached this level in such a short period of time (Approx 2 years now?).

Come on man.
