Yeah, it kinda does sound like that but the BOV on that 34 has a weird whip noise in the beginning and a flatter at the end. I would conclude that it's a HKS with some sort of pipe to make it louder expect it has the flutter at the end. I think it's another brand.

This is the sound of an open dump waste gate, straight pipe, stroked motor and brake booster (I think that's what it's called where you can build boost while braking). Very hard on the turbos...sounds out of this world.

I asked the Aussies about the specs of the 34-R but they haven't replied back.

I usually don't like being so persistent about copying other vehicle. That sound is vagina in the middle of the night.

I'm going to say HKS SSQV as well. It's going to be very hard, if not impossible, to get the same sound from your Z. I carry HKS stuff, if you decide to go the SSQV route.

As an updated. I'll probably sell my R34 if anyone is interested. PM me if you're a SERIOUS buyer (i.e. looking to buy a car soon).

I see you're in the 213 "California" area code, is this one of the uber rare federalized (grandfathered) Motorex R34's for California? Dedicated track car? Or option C "illegal but somehow still here".

I updated my previous post. PM me if you're serious about buying (i.e. are looking to buy a car ATM). Please just don't start asking questions about Motorrex, etc.
