whatever. I drove in the snow in my WRX in summer tires just fine. he looks like he's afraid to stay on the gas for more then a sec to dig for some traction.
that is some pretty light snow, and a very slight incline. he shouldnt have any issues unless his tires are completely bald.

A GT-R’s ultra high performance, high temperature, summer tires will be like bricks at freezing temperatures (no hook up at all). However the all-wheel-drive should have been able to make it up that hill, one way or another. What seems to be happening in the video is once the wheels break loose and start spinning, the traction control is shutting down engine power. It also seems to be applying some braking to individual wheels.
I get my Z stuck on snowy hills sometimes and if delicate throttle control and finesse isn’t getting it done, I bring on the big guns. I turn off the traction control and spin the st!t out of the wheels, digging the tires down to bare pavement. It’s not pretty, but does get my *** up the hill. (I stay the hell away from really steep hills).
GT-Rs do have the provision at (least at slow speeds) to switch off VDC and or Traction Control to get the vehicle unstuck in situations like this.

thats annoying to watch
i dont care what tires you have on there, with AWD and that little snow you should make it through that
he needs to turn off VDC and hit the f*ckin gas, it would make contact with cement in a second with that little snow
