Hope he treats it better than the M3 he flipped when it was new. He admitted on Top Gear he really likes to drive fast and his manager said no more fast cars after his last accident. I will admit I was surprised how fast he was on TG, if I remember correctly he set the fastest lap at the time.

Bolt is totally clean. He ran to school and back home everyday. Instead of playing football in jamaica in highschool we just run. Hes fast but theres 1000s of fast people in jamaica. Unless were all on the juice. If he wasnt clean they would already have suspended him like shawn crawford and justin gatlin.

With the newer synthetic performance enhancers it is much easier to catch people. Look at Armstrong how many years did it take to catch him?

It's not that Bolt is fast. It's the gap he's got to the next people.

You're probably not old enough to remember Ben Johnson, but the way Ben burst into the upper echelon is much the same as Bolt has now.

Well it's just now that he's getting this kind of exposure. He didn't really blow up overnight. he was always one of our best in Jamaica ever since he was in high school.

Point taken Assassin, it's just that with that speed generally speaking no matter how young you'd hear about guys like that. Unfortunately the country has not been spared it's numbers of performance enhancing drug scandals so the truly gifted do bear the burden of guilt until proven otherwise I'm afraid.

Typically your 50m / 100 m guys aren't that tall. He's the first I can remember being so good and so tall. Typically height of that magnitude is more beneficial in longer disciplines.

I agree with that. I was always fast but slow off the block.(6'4 BTW) So I was better suited for 400m and 800m. Wasn't the last Olympic he was behind off the block and then overtook halfway in?
