If it is done professionally, it will not fade or peel. And, if it does, most places have a lifetime warranty (at least the place where I got mine does), and you can just get the tint replaced for free.

Not to turn this thread into a tint, no-tint thread, but I have had tint put on professionally and it doesn't last. I guess unlike most people I keep my cars for years after they are paid for. I hope to have that Z for at least 10 more years. There isn't a tint on the market or a shop that will stay open more than 15yrs that I have ever seen around my area, that would make me feel comfortable getting my windows tinted. Or even to look forward to my no money, free hassle back and forth about getting tint redone. I get tired of arguing with people about there guarantees. So again! My OPINION is no tint

So just view it as tires and get it redone for a couple hundred bones every ten years or whatever. I think it makes the car look so much better and keeps it so much cooler in the summer, that I would pay to get it redone every year if I had to. But that's just me. . .

We can't use the car without tires. But you can drive anywhere in the country without tint. And I boarder a state that I travel through often, that has a strict enforcement of there tint laws. Maybe if I were in texas or cali, I would consider the need for the tint.

So back to the pics. I do have tint.

To do list: Get the tail/headlight tint done professionally, get a small lip on the front bumper (looks good and will cover up spidered paint), lower another inch and maybe paint the door handles black.

Sorta an updated pic of the ride(minus the black OEM hood). Still waiting for my body shop to finish my Top Secret cf hood with flush locking hood pins. Should be done in about a week or so. Then, the car is at the mercy of the potential buyer............................

Nismo shoes look great Alex. So simple and clean, and doesn't detract from the gorgeous lines of the Z33.
