Default 350z Convertible or Hatchback?

Which one would you consider choosing when it comes to picking a Convertible or Hatchback? and also should there be anything different beside that, one of them is a roadster.

If you plan on your Z being your full time car, I would suggest the coupe because it has more room. The Roadster is VERY limited on space and is more of a weekend car... Also the coupe is about 6k-8k less then the roadster if money is an issue. Plus the roadster is few hundred lbs heavier so if performance is an issue and few tenths of a second is important to you then the coupe is the way to go...

But after driving both the coupe and roaster back to back, the roadster is a lot more fun to drive.

for me after test driving both cars, the clear choice was the roadster. i dont regret it at all. i love my car.

i recommend you drive both and see which one suits your personal taste.

unless you want to track the car...hands down the roadster... I traded in my coupe for the rooadster and the only thing I regret is not buying the roadster in the first place

I'd vote for the roadster, too. With the top down, the car is just unbelievable. It's fun to drive and solid as a rock. As for interior room, I find that the roadster has tons of useful space. I don't hesitate to go shopping with it because the trunk actually holds a good bit. But then, I've never been one to carry a lot of "stuff" in my cars, except for when I'm shopping. Even when I had a Pathfinder, I didn't have a lot of cargo. You can always get a used truck or something (that's what I did) if you have the need for a vehicle to haul stuff from Home Depot or the llike -- or rent one for those times when you do.

Roadster...if I run out of trunk space I just put the top up and put stuff in the top compartment. :-)

I'm partial to the roadster.......But I can't wait till all the coupe owners chime in....this ought to be interesting.....Besides, not many people buy a car like this for its utility.......Dave

It's a matter of personal preference. To me, the roadster looks like $h!t compared to the coupe. Why? Because the roadster LOST the defining feature that sets the Z apart from all the other cars: its spiral-shape top. Without that top, the roadster looks no different or distrinct than a S2k or Z4.

If I wanted a roadster, I would have bought an S2k. However, I absolutely love my Lemans Sunset coupe.

I am not slamming the roadster owners at all. As I said, its a matter of personal preference.

damn everyone's got a roadster.....? I really like the look of the roadster when the top is off, and I bet it's awesome to drive in nice weather, but................

i'm gonna be honest. I really think the roadster looks kinda ugly with the top on.

it's up to you tho man. Hows the weather in oakland? If it's good year round you should buy the roadster if you got the ca$h, but if you're gonna have the top up alot... buy the hatch
