$300 for wax!?!? WTF?
That sounds like the BS that my dealer tried to charge. If you just tell them straight out that you know all those charges are total BS you can usually get them to remove them.

All had Meguiers wax listed at $300! ...and chrome wheels or other useless crap. The only good deal was a white '04 touring with 18" wheels at $36K, but even that's high. Forget my endorsement...they are playing games too.

Since we are trashing Universal I should mention I went there when the 350Z coupe just came out. I was in the showroom for at least 20 minutes and not once did a salesman even look at me.
One question I have is what will the difference in value be between an 04 and 05 a year from now (same MSRP)? $2K?
3$K $4K $5K?
A silver 2004 350ZR 6sp with 424 miles sold at Manheim auction on 12/22 for $30,100. A silver 2004 Silver automatic with 2471 miles went for $29800 in West Palm!

Good question. I almost traded my '04 with 16K miles a few months ago at Chariots of Palm Beach. Dealer offered me $29,500. Not sure if that helps, but that's about $11,000 less than what I paid for it August '03. If you can get an '04 anywhere near that, go for it.

There are a lot of 350ZR's out there and a live body on a showroom floor is all they want for Xmas! They are still waiting. Today or tomorrow I go in for the kill.

I just got a used 2004 RZ with 5,300 miles on it for 32,500. I was looking at a new 2004 and they would only discount 1,200 off the MSRP. I could not justify spending 39K for a car when the same exact one was on another lot for 33K. Only 2 tiny stone chips on the hood everthing else is mint!

Paid for 350 roadster
I posted this someplace else, but I think I should post it again.
I bought a 350Z Roadster AT with 18" option wheels and navigation system. The list was about $41,600.00. I paid $37,900.00, with 2% financing. You have to remember that I live in the Boston area, it was Nov. 30th, and the winter was coming on. So they probably wanted to clear the 04s out.
Thanks

I purchased a 2005 350zr touring at1% above invoice price. The exact price was 36,290.31. The dealership was Victory Nissan located in Richmond,Va. There was no hassle and that was the only deal I was going to take.
