asking info on Z350 before buying...
I'm considering on buying a Z350 soon..
Some friends recommended me to buy a G35 coupe instead, but I like the Z better for it seems sportier and has a better front and rear ratio..does it handle better than a G35 for those friends who have experience with both cars?
Also, though has 300HP, the Z350 Ann. Edition has only 260ft-lb torque as opposed to the 274ft-lb torque of the regular '05 Z. But it does have a rear spoiler which the regular Z doesnt right? Do you guys think the Ann. Edition is worth its money over a regular '05 Z? Does it have a faster 0-60 acceleration time? But I think torque is also very important..
I'd appreciate your inputs..

Need to ask this question in the 350z Coupe Forms not the Roadster Forum, unless your considering the Roadster also...
Biggest Difference between the G35 Coupe and the 350z Coupe is the backseat and about $6000.00, more depending on options...
As far as performance there basicly the same, maybe the 350z is a tad quicker, but its all pretty much the same... Heck in Road & Track Magazine, they have the 350z listed 0-60 at 5.6 seconds and the 350z Roadster at 5.5 seconds and the roadster is like 200 lbs heavier... so it all depends on the time of day and driver... thats how close all these cars are in performance..
The 350z is definalty more sportier looking and the G35 Coupe is more up scale looking.... Like I mentioned before comes down to if you want to spend some extra $$$ for the back seat and more plush interior..

You have to drive the cars and see which one you like for yourself. The Z has sportier handling than even the G35c with the sport suspension. Its interior is a little simpler, but far more unique and sporty. To be honest both cars have pretty crappy interior materials. As far as cost, when similarly equipped the difference in cost is minimal. The G35 has a few more luxury items, the Z has a few performance benefits.
The spoiler on the Anniversary Z is the same spoiler you can get on any 350Z, it costs $330 + install or can be part of the Aero kit option on any Z. It's barely noticeable, and probably not functional. The Anniversary edition's main appeal is its exclusivity and the combo of Brembo brakes + leather seats (previously unavailable). As for the hp-tq issue, I don't believe it will make a difference in the performance of the vehicle, but the new motor will be more fun to drive because of the raised redline.

I agree about driving them both to decide.....IMO, the Z is sportier and more agressive looking....The G is more of a softer look.....and of course the fact of a 2-seater vs a 4-seater might be a decision maker.......Just an opinion......

hey Rayden, where do you get that type of spoiler? normal Z spoiler are like small and not functional probably.. do you have to go thru modding to get that? and same question with the hood cover..that is way more cooler!
