Default 2005 350Z Roadster Models & Options

As I had previously mentioned in another thread....
I gave up on my 05 GT ZR plan. Could not get an answer from my passport nissan dealer on it's price until February now, and they and the nissan news site both Still indicate that the GT ZR will Not be available as an automatic (even though their printed selection guide that you may pick up at a dealer indicates automatic as a GT ZR option).

Some New FYI: For those of you that are still interested in waiting on an 'automatic' GT ZR, below is the nissan site info I Was referring to (just the no-auto availability killed any trade plan for me - my wife would quickly tear up a stick ZR):

From Nissan Site: Models and Options (scroll down to this).

"The 2005 350Z Roadster will be offered in three well-equipped models – 350Z Roadster Enthusiast, 350Z Roadster Touring and 350Z Roadster Grand Touring. Standard 350Z Roadster Enthusiast features include power seats, power-operated soft top, electrically operated storage cover, rear wind deflector, 17-inch alloy wheels, xenon headlights, automatic climate control, a choice of 5-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmission and more.

The 350Z Roadster Grand Touring model, which is available ONLY with the 6-speed MANUAL transmission, adds Brembo® brakes, Vehicle Dynamic Control and 18-inch wheels and tires. It is scheduled to be available in late 2004." (- NOT!)

Note: As I have already started modifying my 04.5 baby with new wheels/tires swap, hopefully this no-auto information from two dealers and the nissan site above will not turn out to be Wrong later on... - NP - Time to start planning for my next Mod now!

I would like to refer you to Herb Gordon Nissan eventhough it's maybe 40-50 miles from you but worth the distance. Talk to Russell States tell him that Alan sent you. Good luck! Here's the number to reach him 301-890-8900.

Ide give anything to trade the Auto I have in mine for a Manual.

Tell you what, You But that ZR with the Stick, and I will Trade you Trannys, Mines only got 15K on it. We will split the difference of the cost to have them swapped.

Since we only live a few hours away from each other, It should only take a Weekend. I have a good shop here in WV that will do it for Cheap ($30 Per hour plus parts)
