Default Roadster Mesh Seat Wrinkle

Hi, ever since i got the roadster i have noticed that there are some wrinkles on the roadster seat: ** This is not my car, just showing the location of the problem

From day 1 of owning the car, the wrinkles have been there, yet on the passenger seat, there is absolutely nothing, even now, after 7 months. I was wondering if any of you guys have this problem? Seems like i got lucky with the passenger seat and got a wrinkled driver's seat =/. I oil the seats religiously with Lexol, do you guys know any better way to prevent wrinkles on the seat?

It's just wear and tear. I have a roadster with carbon cloth seats. I get the most wear and tear when I enter and hit my butt against the left corner. I too noticed when you sit in the passenger seat it feels so new.

You can put plastic covers like in Chinese people's home furniture.

I have em. Its from our big ol bee-hinds stretching the leather. I have been keeping up the leather with conditioners and stuff, but nothing works.

I deal with this stuff every day. Basically, it is leather and leather wears with use and the driver seat gets used a whole lot more than the passenger seat. If you really have such a great life that this is one of youe biggest issues/challenges and you have to get these wrinkles out. Get a steamer (not an iron) put a towel over the seat and steam the leather through the towel. If you want to take your chances with an iron, get a wet towel and move the iron back and forth over the wet towel. Do not keep the iron in one place for more than a few seconds. You risk burning the leather (a steamer won't harm the leather). But, odds are the wrinkles will return as you sit on the seat. As I said that is what leather does, it is not damaged. To keep the leather lasting as long as possible use a condtioner (no Armorall or silicone based products)on the leather regularly, especially on the outside upper and lower bolsters as they take the brunt of the wear.
