Looks nice! I'm just waiting for my new badges so I can do this, too. I may even remove the 350Z badge on the rear.

JDM air freshener. All the FOBS in the SGV get those first thing when they mod. I like the grapefruit flavor.

The roadster is just glued on while the coupe has 2 holes to hold the emblem on.

Cool! Thanks! And just work it back and forth slowly? I want to take off the silly little 'Dealer Name' sticker too ... I guess this same method would work? That and some 'Goo Gone' or whatever ...

dont put goo gone on your paint. it removes paint as well. i used it to remove the blue dots on my rims.

NO GOO GONE. unless you want paint gone.

Using Goo Gone with a lightly rub is OK....when you apply pressure it will definitely take off the paint. Actually... just use your fingers to roll off the residue!

to make sure you dont mess up the paint. well time and patience works for me. the left over glue sticky crap has to adhere to something otherwise it will just move around like gum. for me, i used paper towels to let it adhere to it then a cloth to hit the last of the residue. use alot of pressure but only let the towel hit it. terry cloth works as well as paper towels due to the texture of the terry cloth. just cheaper and easier to use a paper towel for me. i had the whole 350z emblem off and glue gone in 30 minutes however i have debadged three vehicles previously and have experience.

as to the person that said you can use goo gone and used lightly, i highly recommend you dont listen to that person. it takes everything off. it took the die color off of my hot tub cover when i used it to remove tar from the roofers after a hurricane caused me to have my roof replaced. that stuff works great but putting it on your car's paint, well just go to the body shop and ask how much it would cost to repaint the trunk after you get done messing it up.

I used some sort of 3M to remove tape residue. Worked great and didn't mess up my paint at all.

I consider myself a well knowledgeable person in detailing & etc. I strive for perfection and my record proves it with several Z awards this year.
It just takes some common sense when applying goo gone. COMMON SENSE!!! here's some pics to whom ever is interested. lol
