i personally like the lines of the cope better. However, now that my Z coupe is sold, im looking for a vert. Prolly will get a lightly used SL55, but i'll look at the ZR to see if nissan has cleaned up their act. Actually, scratch that, i cannot deal with nissan's awful dealership service experience.

Anyone else realized that all the people with coupes are gonna say that they look better. And all the people with roadsters are gonna say that they look better? It's like the G35 vs. Z threads...you're basically just getting a list of who owns what. LOL

The dealer I dealt with at Pinnacle Nissan actually called the roadster a disgrace to the Z. And well I wouldn`t go that far, I just don`t think the ZR is nearly as nice as the coupe. But hey, everyone knows that convertibles are a "hate it or love it" thing

I've gotten tons of comments on my Z, but this was just plain cool to experience. I can't recall the last time someone in a Tundra came up to me and just cruised when I am in my truck ( uhhh never). Going down the coast at 85-90 with the temp at 75-80 outside. That my friends is why the convertible will always be better than the coupe!
1st you talk about the roadstar
2nd you compare it to the tundra
3rd you conclude the roadster is better than coupe
uhhhh thank you come again

Ok everyone...LOOK! Some people like the roadster...so they bought it, some people like the coupe...so they bought it. WHO CARES!! People got what they wanted. Personally I would've preferred a targa but they don't make one. I love my roadster but there is still room in my heart to appreciate all the Z's. LOL
They both have advantages and dis-advantages. It's like arguing about which color is best...it's personal preference.

You thing wrong.
I love the looks of the coupe, but it crakes me up how some coupe owner think everyone (“all”) like the looks of the coupe better and just buy the roadster for the top down experience. I think the ZR is the best looking car in its class on the road (and price range) and that’s why I bought it.
Oh and did I mention the top goes down and that’s a BIG bonus!

Well, now that things were taken out of context. I love both cars and have had Z's in my family since the 240z. What you don't get is that this was meant purely to be a "great experience" thread. Both cars are great which is why I got one. I could afford the Convert, so why not. The Tundra comparison was simply to show how Z owners are prouder of their vehicles than some other car or truck owners. The fact that the other driver acknowledged me is key, not the performance of the Z over the Tundra, cause, when it comes to camping the Z sucks period. Be real and come with something of interest or value.
Oh and it does get to hot to drive with the top down sometimes. With the top up the car never bakes your scalp as was implied. Well at least not mine. Still lovin it.
