Not that the Roadster is ugly with its top up, but side by side the coupe wins in the looks department. Now with the Roadster's top down, it blows away the coupe in looks....

 

Now there is definitive proof the Roadster is better than the coupe...

Why the debate? I want one of each. I actually want a coupe, but will wait a year or so to see what they do for a mid-life update (hear the interior is getting a makeover for 06...hoping they do something with forced-induction from the factory, too). They are BOTH good-looking cars and have their own mission in life. There is no point trying to figure which looks better. Coupe is awesome, roadster is awesome...my 2c

The roadster looks way better because that's what I bought...if I would have bought an STI then I would say the STI...if I would have bought the cuper charged ford focus then the focus...if I would have bought etc etc etc then the etc J/K they both look great just your matter of taste
