Don't like the Headlights! Rear LED look good. I like that. Always wonder why they didn't do that from start. Since G35 came with it.

hey does anybody know anything on hp wouldnt it be nice to just stock the z with 350hp after all it is a 350z ??? as for the headlights i think there great open your eyes guys think of all the custom work that can be done with them also simply change the hid hue to a 14000k and change the 4 leds to a whiteish color and your set the different headlight style i think was made for better output the z hid output sucks right now

 

I'll stay with my 2004 350

 

I remember reading these types of threads when the '04 2.2L S2000 was coming about.... on and on. Automakers update every car to attract more buyers which is simply good for business... but they can never keep the salt out of the mouths of current owners. Either way... I have sold my S2000 and am getting closer to buying a 350Z and will admit, these changes will push me closer to pulling the trigger... Out of all the things I appreciated on my second test drive, the "bling" factor was lacking... and my fiance continues to point this out. She cannot deny the smile that throttle put on her face though... and she was the passenger.

-Rims, very nice... these rims on the 35th @ the car show got me back to the showroom

-WTF is that aluminum shifter housing about? (this is fugly enough to blow my purchase, hopefully it looks better in person)

I like the lighting changes.......the fronts look like true HID.......would love to put one of the new "Z's" onm a dark stretch of highway at night to check that lighting system.

The rear LEDs should make a statement in all conditions(fog, etc).......

Don't like any of the changes to the front end of the car at all. Wheels are alright but I'd still swap them for new ones. The tails are alright...

The interior changes... On the other hand, are very nice IMO.

 

i like the silver gauge rings they put in the speedometer cluster and the tails.

 

They still have the flimsy fold out cup holder in the dash???
That has been my only real complaint about my '03.

 

Are the front headlights the moveable type? I know some infiniti's have lights that adjust for cornering, those look like they could move. Also does anyone know if the stock brake rotors/calipers any bigger in the 06?

 

looks pretty good to me. i wouldnt mind having that look over the current look.

 

OMFG, the headlights are HIDIOUS!!!!! OMFG, Sigh, Everything else i'm diggin.
God ewwww.....the headlights are such a distraction. It looks like they're tryin' to go techno robotic or some ****. I liked the old ones better. It was more subtle and classy.

ya, I went a bit ballistic w/ the "OMG^n" LOL. I freaked out at first cuz I planned on purchasing an '06, that's why

 

I only like the grill.....why do i feel like our cars will be the "real" ones.....these are the cutsie b/s ones that attract dumb people....like the beetle convertible....jeez...i mean soo many people(myself included) wanted this Z from the get go....if this was the only choice back in '03.....i never would have gotten this....but a positive the ugly younger brother may make the resale value of ours go up!!!

 

Only thing I would change a little is the alumnium around the shifter and ac *****. I like this years syle for that better. --notice the center console on the 6 spd is like the 6mt on the G35.

 

I gave this thing some more thought, and I have to say:

How the hell can you screw up on the front lights like that??!?




It's not THAT hard to place in a couple of real projectors and make a CLEAN design out of them. Jeeezus.. where are the wonderful folks who made the S15 silvia lights? Where are the GTR folks??

Are these the same retards that decided to put the Shitenza wheels on the Z?
What the F* else is another change for this car, we don't know yet???
