Default New 06 ZR at Stillen Day

1st pic:

First thing to notice...
well, the hood is open so you may notice a "gap" but that's nothing...
The front grille is different. It has more "aggressive" styling grilles... not sure if I like them. The grilles have "cheapy" feel to it. The bottom part of the grille has "unexplained" elongated dip... not sure what that's for.

2nd pic:
hmm... something is weird... oh! the front reflectors are reversed. Not sure why they did that.

3rd pic:
let's take a close look at the headlight... hmm. they got rid of the amber reflectors inside. The headlight lenz looks oversized. No high beam visible. Not feeling those "bubble" or "zits" or whatever you call them on the upper top portion of the headlights covering just over the signals.

4th pic:
you can tell that the side amber reflector is now gone and has turned into 4 led lights. not a bad idea.

5th pic:
now onto interior.... I dig the new *****. Someone commented its off of a new Max. Not bad placement for the hazard switch...

6th pic:
you can tell the door panel is a bit nicer now... it's padded a bit where you rest your elbow.

So are the Anniversary wheels now standard, because that looks like an Enthusiast Model?

And volume controls now standard? Bastards! I like the wheels and steering wheel!

Wow Sho-Time your da man!!!!!
I've been waiting to see pics from a 06 Z!!!
Those changes makes waiting for the 06Z in stead of getting a 05 at the dealer's lot much worthy!!!
And I love the new full projector headlight and LED tail lights. Interior changes are kinda minimal but it's always a plus.
So the Coupe will just have the same changes as the Roadster, right? Any confirmation on the 300hp for all trims ?

Sweet, the front lights are wack looking, but the projector output might be good. Also, notice they are pracitically clear.

The rears are a different story. I must buy those. What do they cost?

Overall thumbs down.

Default 06 Z

Wonder if they redesigned the front suspension?

Ain't feelin' either the headlight or tail light changes.

If you want modify your Z for LED's, there's a better and cheaper way to go. Click on the link below:

http://www.clearcorners.com/products/nissan/350zx3/

I suppose Nissan is trying but those changes seem cosmetic at best.

If you look at the front, it looks like that car from the Chevron commercial

I've never heard cheap and clearcorners.com in the same sentence before haha.

Hopefully the OEM tails will be cheap as well as effective. Arent the current ones cheap? something like 240ish a pair?

Thanks for the pics. If I had those new headlights I'd probably switch out the leds to white, and smoke the housings. They make it look like the Z is wearing eye contacts, and that isn't a compliment.

Subtle changes, but they do change the overall look of the front. I dont know about that bug eyed look to the headlights. I like that Nissan went with all clears, but surrounding the projectors with that chrome housing in the 1st pic makes it look like the Z is wearing glasses.

Agreed. I like everything except the front headlights. Maybe they'll grow on me...

Thanks for the pics, Sho-time. You are the man.
