Has anyone heard back from that Automotive Entertainment company? I'd love to buy one of those enclosures, if they have them pre-made.
Thanks!
PS: I DID send them an email, but...no reply.

I just checked out their website cuz I'm interested in the enclosure too. It seems that they're currently working on the website so there is no way for me to find out. I guess I'll have to wait. Thats is a bad @$$ setup though. I want now, but money is a little low since i just bought a greddy lip, vizage skirts and rear bumper. Now I need to get that painted and installed. Then the sound system will be the next project.

If Automotive Entertainment isn't responding, try the Al & Ed's in Northridge/Reseda (818-885-1626), as some of the personnel from the former are at the latter.

I've included another three shots of the amps installed (thanks to Overboost.com). Unfortunately, I don't have any photos of the amps without the surround, and I no longer have the car - so I can't shoot any more!

Have you tried using some Dacron instaed of foam? Dacron is used in the UK in furniture fabrication, to get that nice curve on a seat's arm (covers the foam and then the final material layer is put on top). It comes in sheets or in rolls and is available in thicknesses from 1'' upwards. I am sure you can get hold of it in the States but it may come under another name. This will give you a 'crisper bass note'. Now to deal with the low frequency vibration/resonance. Get some bitumin based material. It does not have to be very thick, say 1/16th of an inch. Glue this onto the underside of the stock enclosure and this will help greatly. If you cannot get hold of this, rubbing matting is a cheaper alternative, but is not quite so good. Hope this helps with your viabration problem. Let me know how you get on.

I was really concerned about losing my trunk space so I installed a "small" 300w Alpine amp vertically in the back of the trunk area. I carpeted 2 side panels to make it look factory stock. I left the Bose deck and changed out the speakers with 5" Kappa's. I left the stock "air" sub in and it really sounds quite nice with a little power behind it.
