Default New the site....Few questions before i purchase my Z....

Hello all, I am new to the site.

I have just turned 17 years old and am going to hopefully purchase a Z soon.
Now see all I currently live in New York City but my family also owns a house in New Jersey where i will be living for college. The price of the car is no problem but i have to pay insurance. I was wondering if anyone in the area can tell me how they are paying and with which insurance company. It will be under my father's name.

I have a deal at Warnock Nissan for a fully loaded 350Z I'm not to sure which edition Z, but it does have the optional navigation and heated seats. The list price was $34,500, we have offered $32,500 cash because it has a little mileage on it. They said they would get back to me on it after my representive talked with his manager. They may due it considering my father has purchased two Chrysler Pacifica's and a Crossfire from Warnock in the last year!
How ever though, Is this a thumbs up deal?
Thanks alot for your time and if you reply.....

argh... I forgot what insurance company the name is... shoot... ill try to ask my gf what company it is... but she is paying HALF of what every other insurance company has quoted her. she has one accident on her record and it seems that every company wants to kill her on the rate. this company is giving her a full year for 2500, and every other company wanted 5 grand. oh wait.... first trenton. give them a try. Supposedly they are cheaper than any other company. either that or Geico. if you dont have an accident on your record, geico is supposed to be the cheapest. Geico and First Trenton is supposed to be the cheapest in jersey from where my gf has been checking on. give those a try and I hope they give you a quote that will work well with you.

gl and I hope that you get a good rate and that you enjoy your Z. You mite get some people on this board all against a 17 year old getting a Z but im all for it. Enjoy your car and remember to be responsible and dont kill yourself.

Defensive driving... young man. You're going to need some restraint to stay off WOT, especially in this car. Drive safe.

Cool Silverstone Tour R

Go Geico, absolutely the cheapest. State Farm, Nationwide, too much. Invest in the LOJACK!
