Do you use the Manual Shift Mode for AT's?
I wanted to see how many ZR's that have AT use the manual shift mode.
I just started using mine about 90% of the time. I never use to use it, but I find that I have been getting better gas milage (not much) and power when I need it. AT has a delay when I need the trans to down shift to get faster pick up.
Do you use it?
What % of the time durning your regualr driving habits?
Why did I post it in the ZR room? I think most ZR's are AT's...

Wow, it takes ***** to assume most ZRs are ATs But hey, I can't object. Got the AT because I didn't wanna worry about shifting when enjoying the amazing weather in socal as well as women :P
Yeah, I use manualmatic all the time minus when I'm with chicks that I have to hold hands or caress. So about 85-90%.

Yes, I use it periodically--especially when there is a moron next to me @ a light (you pick the type of car the moron is driving) and wants to race. I have Stillen cai, KJR pulley, and nismo exhaust--so, following a braked-locked takeoff, and once I come close to redline in first, the ZR is screaming. A "manual" shift into second usually leaves the ******* WAY behind and, if not, second usually does the trick.
Frankly, I don't care about gas mileage-I like the way my car performs w/ my mods, and an extra $5-$10 bucks a tank is a small price to pay, IMO.
