Lets just be happy that the brakes don't have inmature wear and grinding problems.

I pre-ordered my car back in August. When pictures finally surfaced of the GT coupe rims, I drooled. I called my dealer and had him try everything to get those wheels on my Roadster. I mean the car is supposedly being assembled in Japan to my exact specs....anyways long story short; it DIDN'T HAPPEN.

I hate having to go through the hassle of buying the rims off of ebay or somebody here and having to sell off my old stock 06 rims myself. The shipping, the escrow, yadda yadda yadda.

From what I understand the GT coupe gets those nice rims AND some sort of body part called "filets" (spelling, one l or two?). These parts protrude from the back part of the wheel well, probably for picking up road grime from the wider 19" rears.

Anybody else find these new wheels MUCH more appealing than the NISMOs? I do.

I saw the filets, basically a small strip behind the rear ties, to catch hell I don't know, kinda cheezy!
